Manchester City reportedly interested in teenager Patrick Dorgu.

The 19-year-old Danish left-back has been linked with a move to the Premier League with Liverpool and Manchester City battling for his signature.

He currently plays for Serie A club Leece and has made 14 appearances across competitions for the Italian side this season.

Dorgu’s talent has attracted a lot of attention since his promotion to Lecce’s first team and the club paid only €200,000 for his services.

The 19-year-old left-back would be a long-term acquisiton for Manchester City and Guardiola could help Dorgu fulfil his tremendous potential.

His agent Kingsley Ogbodo revealed that Manchester City aren’t the only European club interested in the teenager.

Ogbodo said: “We focus on his career, his development and playing time. Liverpool are obviously not the only club following him either. There are many clubs here in England who are keeping an eye on him.

“Manchester City kept an eye on him when he played against England for the Under-19s at Hobro in Denmark. The Lecce scout also told me that Barcelona are also monitoring Patrick, because he is a huge talent.”

Barcelona and Chelsea are the other two clubs monitoring the defender’s situation ahead of the January transfer window.
