Star duo Haaland and Ake return to training
Manchester City has got an enormous injury boost ahead of this weekend’s much-anticipated match against Liverpool. Both star attacker Erling Haaland and defender Nathan Ake, who had been suffering injuries and pulled out from international action, were photographed exercising with the team ahead of the coming Premier League match.
Ake had missed the exciting 4-4 draw against Chelsea before the international break due to an undisclosed ailment, while Haaland, who played in Norway’s 2-0 win over the Faroe Islands, had an ankle problem flare up.
Although Norway’s manager stated that Haaland could have took part under different conditions, City were concerned about his absence considering the importance of the imminent match against Liverpool.
