David Moyes has remained persistent in their admiration of Phillips.
West Ham are almost on the verge of signing Man City defender Kalvin Phillips and it will be a loan deal. Man City signed him from Leeds United in 2022 for a reported fee of £45m.
Despite a huge transfer fee, Phillips didn’t get opportunities under Pep Guardiola. He has not been a regular for Man City. The 28-year-old made only 31 appearances for the club across all competitions and six appearances have come from the starting lineup.

Guardiola recently said that the situation is unlikely to change in Phillips’s favour. The Englishman has been heavily linked with many clubs.
Kalvin Phillips is planning to earn a place in Euro 2024 and he needs some game time.
a wide array of clubs, all aware that the 28-year-old is desperate for first-team football ahead of Euro 2024. City can offer him the option of using the remaining season as a loanee.
David Moyes has remained persistent in their admiration of Phillips. As per David Ornstein of The Athletic, West Ham hierarchy have now made the breakthrough with their City counterparts over a loan deal for the rest of the season.
The East London club will possess the option to sign the England international permanently in the summer. A medical is supposed to be undertaken in due course.
